In this time of fear and anxiety, I want to exhort you to keep the faith.  Trust that we have a loving God, who faithfully directs our paths.

Just a little over a year ago, He led my husband and I here.  To Redmond. Even more specifically, to Eagle Crest.

We loved the mountains, the wide open spaces, the rivers.  Just two weeks after we arrived, Ron went to his heavenly home.

After his memorial service, I took a year to pray, seek His face on my next steps ... and then began to volunteer

for nonprofs & causes I felt strongly about:

Friends of the Children, STAND!, Saving Grace, Hospice of Redmond, and CASA are the ones coming to mind ...

I became a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Redmond.  I attended as many Coffee Clatters as I could in an effort to know

and be known by the people of Redmond.

Have I told you how much I love Redmond?  well, I do!  so very much.  I love walking 6th street in the evening, when the lights are on and the restaurants are full.

I love happy hour at the Brickhouse (ooooh. their poke appetizer and marionberry margaritas). I love Herringbone Books.

Can't wait for all this corona virus to be over, and we can visit Ida's and the rooftop at Redmond Hotel.... love the Odem... love the

new clothing stores.  I love how Redmond skillfully blends the historic with the new.

(shout out to westside tacos and a big growl to the Jerk Kings for shutting down their food truck.

selling the sauce just ain't the same;miss you tons. please reconsider.

I am praying for all small businesses (as a pro photographer, I include myself!); that we can all find our way through this to a celebratory

re-opening day.

Back to talking about the sovereignty of God.  Well -- He put me here.  In a land that I love, with people I have grown to love.

Together, we will make our way. A new way.  We will become strong.  We will all have battlescars but we will survive.

I hope. Then again, those of us who are believers are looking for Jesus' return.

but I'm not going to get preachy.  Just want to tell you how much I see His hand in my life. Hope you can in yours, too --

and take comfort in that.

I've recently started working at Juniper Springs -- nice to have good, fulfilling work to do!  And the people

are amazing. Again, I feel God led me there and I'm so very happy to follow.

Posting this photo of my little boop scoping out our beautiful landscaping here in Eagle Crest .... love to all.
