Class of 2022:  Summer is here, the COVID restrictions are easing, and it's time to book that senior/grad portrait session

woohoo!!

This is a very special time in your life -- please hire a professional to work with you on getting truly great photos.

Sure, you can have your aunt or friend or cousin take your photos, but they aren't going to have the quality that a professional would bring.

I know my lighting, when to bring in additional light(s), what time of day is best for location photography .... and I know how to pose so you don't look goofy.

Sometimes it is worth it to hire a professional and this is one of those times. Consultations are always free, so please don't hesitate.  Together, you and I will plan a session that really says who you are at this time in your life, what hobbies and sports you enjoy, who inspires you, what is the next chapter in your life. One grad a few years ago told me during her consultation that she was going to be going to school to be an EMT.

So I called the local fire station and the guys were kind enough to let us take some shots there at the fire house.  She and her mom were thrilled and we all love the resulting images.

The other young woman pictured here was interested in doing a 50's theme portrait session.  SO much fun!!!   I asked the owner of a local diner for permission to photograph inside her restaurant, and he agreed wholeheartedly.  We figured out a time when the diner wasn't crazy busy, I brought in my lights, the grad had her hair and makeup done, found 50s style clothing, and we were off.  Everyone had a great time -- and the diner staff were so helpful; they really got into it.

A young man was really into mountain biking, so we planned his session around that.  Another young woman loved the idea of sunflower fields.

SO many options!!!

Give it some thought, call me and we will come up a plan for you that doesn't look like everyone else's images.

promise.
