One of my favorite subjects to photograph is senior/grads.  I started my business photographing grads back in 2009, when my son Dan graduated, and i just have a soft spot in my heart for them.

It is such an exciting time, full of hope for the future and a little nervous apprehension.  It's all good and natural to feel a little nervous about what the future holds for you.  It's also a huge transition for the parents!  I remember when my husband and I drove son Dan down to Cal Poly Pomona -- we thought we'd be there for at least a few hours, helping him get settled ... building shelves, putting things away, etc.  but NO!   haha the dorm monitor called them all out for a get acquainted game of tag or something and he was gone -- barely got a hug before we turned away, tears in our eyes.   Happy of course that he was so excited and thrilled to begin this next phase ... but yes it's bittersweet.  So Moms and Dads, be prepared for a HOST of feelings!

It is a very important time to get those senior/grad portraits and since I love to do them, I hope you will honor me by at least checking out my work.   I work out of my home here in Eagle Crest, but LOVE to do on location work.  Sisters, Redmond, Bend, Terrebonne, Tumalo -- wherever, bring it on!    My favorite senior/grad portrait sessions are what I call "themed" sessions.   For example, this young lady thought a 50s theme would be fun.  AND IT WAS!   I worked with a local diner owner on a fairly slow day, and she got her hair & makeup done 50s style ... dressed adorably in a 50s dress ... and voila!    Amazing memories of a unique portrait session.    I've also worked with guys and their cars, a young man who is passionate about mountain biking, and teens with their pets (love!).
